Swimming Pool

Swimming is an effective form of exercise and gives muscles, heart and lungs a great workout. It also improves cardiovascular conditioning and is great as a weight control exercise. The unique thing about swimming is that the buoyancy of the water essentially carries body weight strengthening both the upper and lower body. Hence the Jankians are provided with – Two hygienic and well-maintained Swimming Pools. One is a Semi-Olympic size pool having a depth of 3 feet at the shallow end and 6 feet at the deep end, and the second one is a baby pool with the depth of 1.7 feet for the toddlers.

Well trained instructors and life guards are present during the school timings. Male and female instructors are provided for boys and girls respectively. Boys and girls have separate swimming sessions as well as changing rooms. Each class has a compulsory swimming lesson once a week.

Inter House & Inter School Aquatic meet is held regularly for the students to showcase their swimming talent & competitive spirit.
